Every Ancestor Has a Story

At Wild West Candle Co., we believe family history deserves more than a place in a family tree—it deserves to be remembered, shared, and celebrated. When you submit an ancestor to our Ancestry Candle Collection, you'll create a candle that reflects their life and legacy. Choose the fragrance that best represents your loved one, along with meaningful botanical toppings and decorative elements that hold special significance to your family.

 

Each custom candle includes:

• Your ancestor's name

• Date of birth

• Date of passing

• Their personal story and legacy

• A custom fragrance and design inspired by their life

 

For families who wish to participate, personal prayers, blessings, poems, letters, or words of remembrance may be provided and respectfully infused into the candle-making process during production. This optional tribute creates a deeply personal connection between the candle and the loved one it honors.

 

Once created, your ancestor's candle becomes part of the Wild West Candle Co. Ancestry Collection and is added to our online shop. This allows family members, descendants, and loved ones to purchase a candle created specifically in their honor, helping preserve their memory for generations to come. As our collection grows, so does the opportunity to preserve family history. A portion of every Ancestry Candle purchase is donated to the National Genealogical Society to support genealogy education, historical record preservation, and family history research.
