ESTABLISHED 2020
Wild West Candle Company was founded in 2020 by Jessica Clowers — an artist at heart with a deep love for creativity, exploration, and the untamed spirit of the West. What began as a simple kitchen hobby soon became something more meaningful after Jessica discovered her dog was sensitive to store-bought candles. Determined to create a safer, cleaner alternative, she immersed herself in research and experimentation, ultimately mastering the craft of candle-making. After retiring from the mortgage industry in 2017, Jessica followed a long-held dream of becoming a small business owner and opened her first Etsy shop, sharing her handmade creations with a growing community that valued artistry and authenticity.

At the heart of Wild West Candle Company stands the Wild West Candle Cabin — a space as imaginative as the products created within it. Designed by Jessica and built by her husband, Will, the cabin is both a studio and a work of art, filled with handcrafted details and inspiration at every turn. From music and literature to nature, meaningful conversations, and life’s many adventures, Jessica draws creative influence from the world around her — and from a vibrant imagination that continues to guide the brand.

The Wild West Candle Cabin may be small, but every inch has a purpose. With approximately 200 square feet of dedicated workspace and an additional 100 square feet of storage, the cabin serves as the heart of our small-batch operation—a place where our candles and handcrafted goods are created, finished, packaged, and prepared for their next home. Just outside, the cabin extends into a 225-square-foot outdoor meditation patio beneath the pergola, creating a quiet space to slow down, recharge, and find a little inspiration. The patio opens directly into our sage garden, bringing the natural beauty, scents, and rugged character of the Southwest right to our doorstep. Together, the cabin, patio, and garden create more than a workspace—they're part of the Wild West Candle Co. experience and the place where a little bit of the West finds its way into everything we make.
