Herbal Collection ~ The Story

The original Herbal Collection is a set that describes itself; Clearing Negative Energy, Stress Anxiety Depression, Headache & Nausea, Pain, Immunity, and Allergies. Headache & Nausea was formulated to relieve headache and nausea symptoms. Headache & Nausea, Pain, and Immunity all began as scientific experiments for an assignment in one of my psychology courses. The study was to determine if we could reduce the symptoms of headache, nausea, and pain by using a natural aromatherapy product as opposed to an over-the-counter drug like Tylenol.

Although we could not measure the effects of "scent or fragrance", we determined the combination of oils and herbs used in these products did reduce headache, nausea, and pain symptoms in participants. In science, they call it the 'placebo effect'. However, I believe that any type of natural 'effect' that relieves painful symptoms without the use of medication is quite a powerful tool (even if it is just all in your head).

I do not rely on candles to relieve the pain in my head, stomach, or any other areas of my body. If I am suffering from a severe headache, I will take an Excedrin and I will light a 'Headache & Nausea' candle. The candle seems to take the edge off before the medication starts working. For mild headaches, I will light a candle without taking medications and it seems to help it fade away. I enjoy using the 'Pain' candle for menstrual cramps, muscle soreness, and random bodily injuries.

Immunity was formulated to produce cleaner air quality, fighting off bacteria and other viruses in the environment. Although it is not intended to be used as a replacement for cleaning, sanitizing, and hand-washing; it is quite a refreshing enhancement to a clean environment, and creates a vitamin-c style vibe in the atmosphere.

Allergies was formulated to relieve allergy symptoms, and inspired by the noises that come from the faces inside of my own household. It doesn't fix the issue by itself, but it does work well when used in combination with an air purifier and allergy medications. There is faster and longer lasting relief with the assistance of the candle or wax melts. Aside from the original Herbal Collection, we slowly began adding herbal candles that are commonly used in the 'wild' west such as lavender, sandalwood, cedarwood, peppermint, and green tea.
