The History

Our journey began in the northern wine region of Arizona, exploring unique wine fragrances with the intention of formulating “wine aromatherapy candles”. As we ventured into the southern wine regions, we stumbled upon an irresistible wine that led to an incredible “all senses in” experience. We spent five days at the vineyard; sorting different grape varieties and indulging in the smell and taste prior to the fermentation process. Through this process, we obtained the missing data to complete our formulation. Upon completion, our Syrah Oil failed the evaluation process in the aromatherapy candles. Our ingredients are “too natural” and would require synthetic additives to produce a high-quality scent throw. When evaluated in skincare products, the Syrah Oil received a 100% PASS rating.

The Story

We use organically grown fermented Syrah grapes, which are high in flavonoids and polyphenols, and these grapes are cold-processed in our facility to preserve the natural vitamins and antioxidants that are distinctive to the Willcox region. We know where these grapes come from, who grows them, how they are grown, the environmental conditions they are exposed to, and what they smell and taste like before and after they are transformed into fermented grapes. Working at the vineyard also gave us an idea of what type of energy is going into the wine making process, and we felt this particular vineyard was properly aligned with the energy at our facility. They love what they do, and the place was filled with positive energy. We believe this is one of the most important aspects of expressing high quality "art" whether it be in the form of a wine, a food, a candle, or a skincare product.
